Being present at the event, the consecutive interpreter will interpret between individuals who speak English and Spanish.

- Accurately and impartially interpret between two languages, conveying the meaning, tone, and nuances of the conversation while maintaining cultural sensitivity.
- Remain composed and manage emotions professionally in challenging situations.
- Adhere to all regulations in confidentiality, ethical guidelines and professionalism

Job requirements

- Professional proficiency in English.

- Native proficiency in Spanish.

- Strong interpretation skills: the ability to accurately convey spoken language without omissions, additions, or distortions.

- Cross-Cultural awareness: Understanding and respect of other cultures, customs and communication styles.

- Flexibility to adapt to various subject matters, industries, and situations during interpretation.

- A high school diploma or equivalent.

- Training and certification in interpretation are a plus.

- Knowledge in specific fields such as medical, education, and financial terminology are a plus.

- Maintaining a professional workplace appearance.

- Minimum passing grade on interpretation tests.
